Question by mark: Do inhalants trigger lsd flashbacks for anyone else or is it just me?
I’ve noticed whenever I do inhalants I sometimes get lsd/mushroom visuals. Does this happen to anyone else?
Best answer:
Answer by jannsody
Unfortunately, it can be from the inhalant use. Even people who’ve used lsd or “shrooms” in the past and then marijuana on a different day have had those symptoms.
With regard to the huffing, my friend actually has a severe BRAIN INJURY from inhalant use at the age of 12, now in her 30s.
Other risks of huffing include sight loss/blindness, heart/liver/kidney damage, seizures, limb spasms, bone marrow (the fatty inner lining of the bones that make blood cells) damage and even death, all of which can happen after the very FIRST time of use

There are two types of brain tumors: primary brain tumors that originate in the brain and metastatic (secondary) brain tumors that originate from cancer cells that have migrated from other parts of the body.
Primary brain cancer rarely spreads beyond the central nervous system, and death results from uncontrolled tumor growth within the limited space of the skull. Metastatic brain cancer indicates advanced disease and has a poor prognosis.
Primary brain tumors can be cancerous or noncancerous. Both types take up space in the brain and may cause serious symptoms (e.g., vision or hearing loss) and complications (e.g., stroke).
All cancerous brain tumors are life threatening (malignant) because they have an aggressive and invasive nature. A noncancerous primary brain tumor is life threatening when it compromises vital structures (e.g., an artery).

Question by Lancaid: How do doctors prevent “drug seekers” from getting their narcotics?
And how many people with pain have to suffer and be labeled “drug seekers” because they went to the doctor.
Best answer:
Answer by tracyhide
I used to work at an emergency room and there were patients who would come in, check in, and if the doctor was one that didn’t prescribe narcotics, they would leave. THAT is drug seeking behavior. The same patient would come in multiple times each week and would only stay when the one doctor who would prescribe narcotics was on duty.
If somebody goes from one ER to the next THAT is drug seeking behavior. If they can’t say where it hurts and just keeps asking for a script THAT is drug seeking behavior.
Personally, I think there is too much dependence on drugs. I have had a prescription for a narcotic and I can understand how people can get addicted. However, I only used them when I was in extreme pain and tried to use ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and aspirin most of the time.
