Question by Figgerz: Should we just call cons fascists and libs socialists?
Call a spade a spade right? Seems like most “conservatives” these days believe more in fascist principles: ie private institutions should run the country – privatization of public institutions, deregulation, treatment of “enemy combatants”, and a strong executive branch of government. While many “liberals” believe that government should be running the country – social safety nets, higher taxes for the wealthy, the expansion of the middle class, regulation of industries, and a more bureaucratic government. What are you thoughts?
