Sorry don’t know about the “Alcohol” But to condition hair that is dry and damaged you need to use a conditioner every day that is for dry and damaged hair. You also need to use a Intensive hair conditioner twice a week. QVC do one that is called Ojon which is very good, but if you can’t get that try your local chemist. Herbal essenses or pantene are also good. Use a hair serum to smooth the hair and give it shine. You need to perservere as it may take weeks to get you hair in good condition again. Also get you hair cut to get rid of any dead ends. Good Luck.
